Winter Silence

As our family headed into Christmas 2025 the kids got sick, and then there was the madness that is Christmas with growing kids. Keeping the magic alive for the one that still believes, and holding the magic and surprising the one that keeps it alive with me. My older reason received a diagnosis that finally validated all that he's been telling us he feels. Which led to more appointments throughout January. The younger one had a key turned somewhere that has made a world of difference on one side of his health, only to have the other side begin to downslide again. My family was blessed and expanded in January as well when my step-daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. All that's to say... The end of December and all of January were a LOT. A lot of joy, a lot of anxiety, and a metric ton of appointments. Which added a lot of worry for this mama. Even with the fantastic support system that I have it's been a lot in my head and on my shoulders. That's why I've been so quiet here. I've had to take a little time to wrap my head around all of the things that have been happening with my kids.
Today... in the quiet that only a snow day in the South can bring... the silence started to come full circle in my head with a sense of peace with the chaos. And I wanted to let all those that follow our business know... I'm still standing. I'm still here. And I do take orders. February holds a lot of excitement with birthdays, Lunar New Year, Valentine's Day, and more in our house. I'd love to send some of the flavor of those days to your homes. Just send me a message and I'll be there.
