ABOUT US
We are a cottage bakery located in North Charleston, SC. However, we service the greater Charleston metro area. We specialize in Gluten Free and Dairy Free baked goods so that my kiddo affected by food allergies can have the same looking treats as his friends...just without the ingredients that would hurt him. It's one mom and two kids making their dream come true of owning a business that helps others with similar food restrictions. Look for us at events across the lowcountry: Charleston, North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan and other areas!
HOW WE GOT HERE
When food allergies invaded our lives it was the beginning of the pandemic, and I was newly widowed. I was determined that my child not miss out on things because of food allergies. Therefore I learned to bake in a way that kept the flavors, but were safe for us. The kids and I built our bakery business around our food restrictions so that others like my youngest can have yummy treats that look and taste like what you traditionally see, but without the dairy or gluten.
To do this as a mom I operate as a cottage baker so that I can be at all the kid stuff, and also do all the baking stuff. It's a one person show here, but you will often see my not-so-little reasons at markets with me.
